The President of the Lugansk People's Republic Leonid Pasechnik emphasized that the signing of the accession agreement with Russia is a fulfillment of the will of the people of the republic.
"It is with great joy that I will sign the document and fulfill the will of the vast majority of the population of the republic who voted in the referendum," TASS news agency quoted Pasicnik as saying.
He considered that the signing of accession agreements with the Russian Federation will open new horizons for cooperation and Pasechnik added: "We discussed with our colleagues from the Donetsk People's Republic and the Kherson and Zaporozhye regions the upcoming historical events tomorrow and new horizons for cooperation between our lands, which will open after they become new entities in the Russian Federation."
The Russian presidential spokesman, Dmitry Peskov, announced yesterday that the signing ceremony of the accession agreements of the liberated territories to the Russian Federation will be held today in the Kremlin, in the presence of Russian President Vladimir Putin.
