After the victories of coalitions in Sweden and Italy in recent weeks, their French counterpart parties, notably that of Éric Zemmour, have praised the merits of such alliances.
However, if these models arouse hope among supporters of Reconquête (71%) and the National Rally (66%), the majority of supporters of Les Républicains (56%), for their part, see these victorious alliances as a "source of fear”.
Moreover, consulted on the establishment of an LR-RN-Reconquest coalition in France, 65% of French people indicate that they are opposed to it, as well as 55% of LR voters.

It is on the side of the right of government that the reluctance is the greatest, and there that the opinions have moved the most, since 2019. While 57% of sympathizers were in favor of allying with the RN in 2019, they are today a majority to reject such a prospect.
For the next elections either, a large majority of French people (56%) do not want any of the coalitions imagined between the main parties of the right and the center (LR, Renaissance, RN, Reconquête)... but the alliances perceived as the more coherent are those which would see closer, on the one hand, LR of Renaissance and, on the other hand, the RN of Reconquest.
Thus, 89% of Renaissance sympathizers in favor of an alliance (38% do not want one) place it with LR and, conversely, 51% of LR sympathizers in favor of an alliance (27% do not want one) imagine it with Renaissance.
Further to the right, Reconquest sympathizers positioning themselves for an alliance (8% only do not want it) are 63% to wish it with the RN, against only 20% with LR.
