President of the 77th session of the United Nations General Assembly, Chapa Kuroshi, stressed that China has been a strong pillar of the United Nations' Global Development Initiative, providing a great opportunity to promote sustainable development and implement the 2030 Agenda.

Xinhua quoted Kuroshi as saying in his closing speech during a virtual ceremony held by the Permanent Mission of China to the United Nations on the occasion of the 73rd anniversary of the founding of the People's Republic of China: China, as a founding member of the United Nations and a permanent member of the Security Council, has been a strong pillar of the "UN" blue flag, congratulating It is the result of the achievements it has made in promoting development and prosperity.
