Shay Avital, the model's agent suspected of committing sexual offenses against 27 women, asked to be released to a hotel or a small rented apartment as an alternative to arrest, but the detention judge in the Netherlands rejected his request.
The arguments of the local attorney's office were accepted and Avital will remain in custody.
Meanwhile, the extradition procedure continues.
The next hearing in his case is expected to be held in two weeks.

As you may recall, about three weeks ago, the international department at the State Attorney's Office submitted an extradition request for Shay Avital to the Dutch authorities.
The extradition request is based on the request for temporary detention, and within the framework of it, the prosecutor's office requests that Avital be extradited from the Netherlands to Israel, for the purpose of prosecuting him for sexual offenses against two complainants.
