Robert Habeck: "No answer that I trust"

Vice Chancellor Robert Habeck does not believe Russian statements about the leaks in the Nord Stream 1 and 2 gas pipelines.
"The only truth that comes from Russia is a lie," said the Green politician in Brussels when asked if he believed Russia was not involved in a possible sabotage of the pipelines.
The truth left Russia.
The Kremlin had described allegations by Ukraine, among others, as "absurd" that Russia was destroying its own infrastructure in order to exacerbate the energy crisis in Europe.
“I don't know who did the explosions.
But to say, 'It wasn't us' - that's not an answer I trust," said Habeck.
Investigations are currently underway.
You should wait and see before coming to a verdict, he said.
A total of four leaks have been found on the Nord Stream 1 and 2 pipelines since Monday night.
Many states assume sabotage.
At least two explosions happened underwater, Denmark and Sweden said in a letter dated Thursday.
Seismological institutes have measured a strength of 2.3 and 2.1, which “probably corresponds to an explosive charge of several hundred kilograms”.
