The Russian Ministry of Defense confirmed that its armed forces targeted and destroyed during the past 24 hours hundreds of Ukrainian military sites and facilities, including command centers, a gathering of manpower and military equipment, in addition to shooting down two fighters and five marches.
Ministry spokesman Lieutenant-General Igor Konashenkov said in a press briefing today that the Russian Aerospace Forces launched a high-precision strike against the Ukrainian operational and tactical missile assembly workshops (Grom-2) and (Tochka O) on the territory of the production complex (Southern Machinery Factory) near the city of Dnepropetrovsk.
Konashenkov said that during the missile strikes on the temporary deployment points of units of the 81st Airborne Brigade and the missile and artillery depot of the 80th Landing Brigade of the Ukrainian forces near the city of Kramatorsk in the Donetsk People's Republic, about 200 extremist Nazis were eliminated, 23 units of military equipment and more than 30 tons of artillery and rocket ammunition.
Konashenkov said: “Operational and tactical aviation, army aviation, missile forces and artillery, continued to strike at the positions of units of the 26th mechanized infantry brigade and 59th mechanized brigade in the town of Zakotnoy in the Donetsk Republic, the city of Nikolaev, the 128th mountain assault brigade and the 121st regional defense brigade in the towns of Oskorovka in the Kherson region. Frimivka in Donetsk, the 66th and 93rd mechanized brigades in the southern Donetsk people's town of Redkodub, as well as 61 artillery units in their outposts and centers of manpower and military equipment in 148 districts.
According to Lukashnikov, six depots of missile weapons, artillery and ammunition were destroyed in the towns of Mayaki in the Donetsk Republic, Legino in the Zaporozhye region, Pavlograd and Kolometsevo in the Dnipropetrovsk region, and in the city of Nikolaev, in addition to two field refueling points and equipment for the 93rd mechanized brigade of the Ukrainian forces near the town of Redkodub in the Donetsk Republic.
Lukashnikov pointed out that the mobile group of the electronic intelligence center of the Ukrainian forces was destroyed following a strike by the Russian aerospace forces in the town of Chernovy Stav in the Nikolaev region, and a platoon of US (HIMARS) rocket launchers was also destroyed.
Lukashnikov added: “A fighter plane of the Russian Aerospace Forces shot down a Ukrainian Air Force MiG-29 near Klishivka in the Donetsk Republic, and Russian air defense systems destroyed another Ukrainian Su-25 aircraft over the village of Ternovybody in Nikolaev region. .
Lukashnikov pointed out that five marches were shot down in the air of Orozinoy in the suburbs of Kherson, Svatovo and Vladimirovka in the Lugansk People's Republic, Petrovsky in the Donetsk Republic and Novogorovka in the Kharkov region, in addition to the destruction of 18 US HIMARS missiles in the air over the city of Kherson and the towns of Novaya Kakhovka in the Kherson region and Chervonny Mayak Two US anti-radar missiles (HARM) were dropped over Novaya Kakhovka in Kherson region.
Konashenkov noted that the Kyiv regime continues its provocations aimed at threatening a humanitarian catastrophe at the nuclear power plant in Zaporozhye, adding that Ukrainian artillery once again bombed residential neighborhoods in the city of Energodar and the territory adjacent to the nuclear power plant, stressing that the sources of enemy fire were suppressed by Russian artillery fire, and that the radioactive environment in The station and its surroundings are normal.
According to Konashenkov, since the beginning of the special military operation, 309 fighters, 155 helicopters, 2,112 drones, 377 anti-aircraft missile systems, 5,153 tanks and other armored fighting vehicles, 856 combat vehicles of rocket launchers, 3440 units of field artillery and mortars, in addition to 5,988 units of special military vehicles have been destroyed.
