The heads of the "republics" of Donetsk and Luhansk, and the Russian supervisors of the territories held in Kherson and Zaporizhzhia provinces, will discuss the documents in the Kremlin • Putin is expected to give a speech • In Kiev, the Security Council will convene to make significant decisions in response to the attempted annexation

Agreements will be signed in Moscow in the next hour regarding the acceptance of four new territories into the Russian Federation.

These are the "republics" of Donetsk and Luhansk, which were established with the unofficial guidance and assistance of Russia back in 2014, and territories from Zaporizhzhia and Kherson districts, which Russia has held since the invasion in February of this year.

Russian President Putin is expected to deliver a speech during the event, where he will once again present his unique view of Ukraine's history.

Afterwards, the signing ceremony for agreements will be held in which the head of the "Republic" of Donetsk, Denis Pushilin, the head of the "Republic" of Luhansk, Leonid Peschanik, the head of the Russian administration of the Zaporizhia region, Yevgeny Belitsky, and his counterpart in the Kherson region, Vladimir Saldo.

A festive rally is expected to be held in Red Square in honor of the signing of the agreements.

The President of Ukraine, Volodymyr Zelensky, held a meeting with senior officials of the Ukrainian army and security system.

Later, a meeting of the Ukrainian Security Council is to be held, where, according to some estimates, "significant decisions" are to be made.

It is likely that these are reaction measures to the unfolding annexation.

A question that has not yet been clarified is which borders will Russia recognize in the territories - the borders of its conquests or the borders of the districts in the administrative division of sovereign Ukraine.

The second option would mark the parts of the territories that Ukraine defends as potentially Russian territories.

In any case, the Kremlin spokesman, Dmitry Peskov, said that firing at the territories that will be "annexed" would be considered an attack on Russian territory.

However, it must be remembered that Ukraine has already damaged territories that Russia has annexed and considers its own, such as Crimea, and there have also been damages in the Russian regions adjacent to Ukraine, which are not in dispute.

The vulnerabilities did not result, as of today, in an unusual Russian attack.

The mayor of Mariupol on behalf of the Russians speaks to the Electoral Commission, this week.

"fabricated wishes",

On Tuesday, fabricated referendums were concluded in the "Republics" and the territories of Zaporizhzhia and Kherson, which Russia holds, in which, according to the occupying forces, between 87% (Kherson district) and 99.2% (Donetsk) expressed their desire to join Russia.

A few hours ago, Putin signed decrees recognizing the "sovereignty" of Zaporizhzhia and Kherson.

Russia recognized the sovereignty of Luhansk and Donetsk a few days before the invasion.

This is a necessary move in terms of the Russian constitution to advance the annexation process.

The procedure began with the "referendums", after which the heads of the entities requested to accept the territories to the Russian Federation.

Now, after the signing of the agreements, the Constitutional Court in Russia is expected to give its opinion on the legality of the agreement, and it is safe to assume that it will be positive.

In the next step, both houses of the Russian parliament will approve the agreements.

At the same time, a law will be drawn up regarding the acceptance of the territories to Russia, which will be approved by the lower house, the "similar".

Immediately after the approval, Putin will sign the law and thus the annexation will enter into force - as far as Russia and its satellites are concerned only.

Governments throughout the Western world condemned the referendums, because they were held without a democratic-legal basis, because many residents of the districts fled them due to the war, and because the remaining were forced to vote.

Israel also announced that it would not recognize the results of the referendums.
