Hurricane "Ian" is raging in the USA, it's getting stormy in the Mediterranean and it's also raining and uncomfortable in Germany for the time being.

The weather forecast for the next few days.

Munich/Wiesbaden - A look outside is enough: Autumn is here.

But instead of sunny walks between colorful leaves, most people probably spend the autumn days on the couch in the dry.

And the weekend doesn't promise too much either.

It's getting wet, gray and stormy in Germany.

After the holiday, the weather should calm down a bit, it will be dry and sunnier.

The prospects look even warmer in mid-October, when temperatures of almost 30 degrees are expected to be reached.

Weather at the weekend: It will be wet and stormy in Germany

The past few days have been characterized by a lot of rain.

The weather conditions are looking better on Friday - in most parts of Germany it will be pleasantly mild and sunny.

But that will change again this weekend.

On Saturday it will be rainy and stormy with temperatures of up to 17 degrees and not much will change on Sunday either.

With temperatures up to 19 degrees, rain falls again and again and it remains cloudy.

The Day of German Unity on Monday looks no different.

Expect a lot of clouds, along with occasional rain showers, wind and only rarely does the sun come out.

After the long weekend, the weather should improve.

"Next week it could be friendlier.

It smells a little like golden October weather with more sunshine and often dry weather," explains qualified meteorologist Dominik Jung to the weather portal

wetter.net.

Tuesday is expected to be a calm autumn weather with a mix of clouds, sun and fog.

The temperatures will also remain pleasantly warm next week.

We can expect highs of up to 19 degrees by Friday.

Golden October weather and sunshine will accompany us until next Friday.

Golden October from next week - then rain again

“Three or four golden October days would be possible, maybe more.

We'll have to wait and see how stable next week's high is.

Basically everything depends on it.

According to the current status, even a longer phase of fine weather cannot be ruled out,” says weather expert Jung.

Then the first rain showers could appear in the north of the country in the evening.

Hurricane "Ian" is one of the factors responsible for the warm days, which is moving through the North Atlantic and has already left Cuba and the US state of Florida behind.

Severe devastation lies behind the hurricane and is now heading for South Carolina.

It's also stormy in the Mediterranean at the moment.

There, areas of low pressure repeatedly meet the warm water and produce heavy rain and thunderstorms.

This can lead to severe storms, especially in Italy and the Balkans.
