Unemployment in the district of Erding hardly changed in September compared to August - the rate remains at 2.1 percent.
Erding - Overall, the number of job seekers fell by 49 to 1745. A year ago, the rate was 2.3 percent.
This was announced by the employment agency in Freising on Friday.
According to the agency, there is more movement in the demand for personnel from employers.
In September, they reported 303 new positions to be filled.
This means that there are 1212 job offers in the job pool.
Of these, 995 were aimed at specialists, only 217 positions were for helpers, the agency reports.
Between March 2021 and March 2022, the number of employees subject to social security contributions who work in the district of Erding rose by 493, or 1.1 percent, to a total of 45,743.
A look at the individual sectors reveals: “The hospitality industry reported the strongest growth during this period.
The most unfavorable development was in the provision of financial and insurance services,” reports a spokesman.
Katja Kürmaier, operational director of the Freisinger employment agency, speaks of a "slight revival of the regional job market".
The decline in unemployment is mainly due to seasonal reasons.
After the holidays, the companies hired more people.
Many graduating students have now also found their footing – and started an apprenticeship or a course of study.
