Learn about the history of migrants trapped by bureaucracy in Honduras 4:22
(CNN Spanish) --
A video published in the Honduran media captures the exact moment in which a precarious boat sinks in the Guayambre River, located in the department of El Paraíso, east of Tegucigalpa.
The material, these media say, was recorded this Wednesday by one of the members of a group of migrants from South America.
The migrants, who prefer not to be identified, told CNN that among those affected by the shipwreck were Venezuelans, Brazilians and even Asians who, to continue on their way to the United States, were forced to use this type of boat because the rains and the flooding of the tributary destroyed the bridge of the place.
Two Honduran migrants die and three more are injured in Tabasco when they are robbed on their way to the US.
According to testimonies, most of the occupants survived, but three people are missing.
A report from the Fire Department indicates that this Thursday they found the body of one of the victims.
He is a minor of Brazilian origin.
The official part adds that two more people are still missing.
