From the fragrance of the past and the beautiful memories, more than forty-five Syrian women woven their products to open the exhibition (Syrian Bees) for recycling used fabrics, its activities this morning at the headquarters of the Watan Document Foundation in Damascus.

Chair of the Board of Trustees of (Watan Document) Dr. Buthaina Shaaban said in a statement to reporters after the exhibition’s opening: “This exhibition and the women’s projects in it touch the heart because it reminds us of our grandmothers and mothers who used every piece they had to make something beautiful, and to restore this heritage with Syrian hands and in a beautiful artistic way. A matter that deepens our roots in our identity and Syria.”

Shaaban pointed to the ability of the Syrian woman and her determination to work despite all the difficulties that the years of war on Syria produced, and said: "We are rebellious to oppression and wars.
