Fifteen people were killed in heavy floods caused by monsoon rains in Pakistan during the past 24 hours.
Xinhua quoted the National Disaster Management Authority as saying that the floods in Pakistan killed 15 people, including 11 children and four women, destroyed 20,45349 homes, killed an estimated 1,160,078 head of livestock, and damaged 13,074 kilometers of roads and 410 bridges.
The total death toll in Pakistan due to monsoon rains and floods this season since mid-June has risen to about 1,693.
