The artistic teams of the Revolutionary Youth Union performed this evening a concert on the Roman amphitheater in the city of Jableh, as part of a series of various activities on the occasion of the 54th anniversary of the Revolutionary Youth Union, in the presence of a large audience of Jableh youth and its sons.
Ammar Saati, a member of the Qatari leadership and head of the Youth Office, said in a speech that the youth of Syria, who confronted the enemies of the homeland and their terrorist scheme, are capable of rebuilding and reconstruction, pointing out that the young generations in Syria, whom the conspirators thought a weak point that could be exploited for the benefit of their terrorist plans, proved the opposite, and confirmed that they are an element A strength for our country that counts on their enlightened and conscious thought.
In turn, President of the Revolutionary Youth Union, Sumer Daher, stressed that the youth are the hope of tomorrow and the candle of the future, and that the organization is preparing and training this segment of society, empowering their energies and capabilities and nurturing their creativity, given what they constitute of creative and strong energy capable of rebuilding the country.
The Revolutionary Youth Union teams from different governorates presented artistic dance performances that embodied the history and heritage of the various regions, amid a great interaction from the audience. The ceremony began with a performance by the Daraa and As-Suwayda Youth Band, which presented a group of traditional dances and songs that celebrate the love of the country in the region’s folk costume.
The Youth Union of Aleppo troupe presented a group of dabkes and dances, accompanied by traditional songs, al-Qudud al-Halabi and Muwashahat, while the Homs and Hama Youth troupe presented dance paintings and traditional songs singing the Orontes River and the waterwheels.
The youth bands of Latakia and Tartous sang the concert with a set of songs, dances and folk dances that are rich in the heritage of the coastal region.
During the ceremony, a number of heads of the revolutionary youth branches were honored in a number of governorates, in appreciation of their long work in the service of youth and youth, in addition to honoring Maestro Nazih Asaad in appreciation of his long-term musical works for youth and youth.
