The General Federation of Trade Unions in Syria today honored 311 male and female students of the working class who excel in the basic and secondary education certificates.
Union President Jamal Al-Qadri indicated during the honoring ceremony that among the honored students were 13 students who obtained the full degree, and that it was an encouragement to continue the path of excellence and success for the children of the working class, who did not stop working during the unjust terrorist war on Syria.
Head of the Workers’ Office of the Damascus Branch of the Arab Socialist Ba’ath Party, Wissam Nasrallah, pointed out that this honor comes in appreciation of the students’ families, who were behind the wheels of production during the war period, and provided all the elements of steadfastness, referring to the free educational courses offered by the Workers’ Union in all governorates.
For her part, a member of the Executive Office of the Damascus Workers' Union, Mayada Al-Hafiz, explained that honoring the outstanding is an annual custom carried out by the union every year, to be an incentive to maintain success, and later contribute to building the country and raising its status.
SANA monitored the opinions of a number of honorees, where the student Hamza Ramadan, who obtained the full mark in the scientific branch, said: This honor is an incentive to follow the path of science and excellence, and this was also said by Walaa Suleiman 3100 in basic education, while Roaa Ali 2850, the scientific branch, pointed to the importance of honoring the outstanding. .
The honoring ceremony, which was held at Ramita Hall in Damascus, was attended by Adnan Al-Toto, head of the Damascus Workers Union, a number of heads of trade unions, popular organizations and official departments, and the families of the honored students.
