Occupied Jerusalem-SANA
Palestinian Prime Minister Muhammad Shtayyeh called on the international community to stop the policy of double standards, and to provide international protection for the Palestinian people in the face of the brutality of the Israeli occupation.
Shtayyeh said in a statement today, carried by Wafa Agency, that the occupation does not stop killing defenseless Palestinians, as long as the world continues to allow it to go unpunished, which encourages it to continue its crimes, the latest of which was the heinous field execution that its forces committed today against the young Fayez.
Damdom, 18 years old, from Al-Eizariya town, occupied Jerusalem.
For its part, the Palestinian Ministry of Foreign Affairs condemned in a statement this crime, considering it a continuation of the systematic and widespread policies of the occupation, represented in field executions and willful and arbitrary killings against the Palestinian people.
The ministry confirmed that it will continue to work with the United Nations and its international human rights institutions to document the ongoing crimes of the occupation against the Palestinians, and to hold the perpetrators accountable.
