The 10th Arab Championship for Cycling Champions Clubs concluded today in Lattakia, with the participation of eight clubs representing Iraq, Egypt and Palestine in addition to Syria.

In the women's individual competitions for a distance of 55 km, Miran Al-Fares won the first place, and Fatima Shouk took second place, and Maha Shamlas in the third.

Barada Miran Al-Fares, Fatima Shouk and Sandy Dergham won the first three places in a row in the U-23 female category. The first place for the Al-Mohafaza Club teams was won, followed by Barada in second place, and Newroz from Iraq third.

In the individual competitions for the men’s category for a distance of 130 km, Abdullah Abdul-Khader Ta’in, the player of the Iraqi Al-Hashd Club, was crowned with the second place, Ahmed Muhannad Abdul-Amir, and Iyad Muhammad came third, both from the Iraqi Al-Sina’a Club.

The first three places in the U-23 youth category were won by Ali Mousli from Barada Club, Omar Al-Baz from Al-Mohafaza Club, and Wahbi Suleiman Abdullah from the Iraqi crowd.

At the end of the race, the three winners of each category were crowned separately, in the presence of the Secretary of the Baath Arab Socialist Party branch in Latakia, Engineer Haitham Ismail, Engineer Amer Ismail Hilal, Governor of Lattakia, and members of the Executive Office of the General Sports Federation, Muhammad Al-Khidr and Abdel Nasser Karko.
