In 30 days the citizens of Israel will go to the nearest polling station to vote in the Knesset elections.

What will decide this question is perhaps more than anything - the voting rate in the Arab sector.

The issue concerns the two heads of the blocs, Yair Lapid and Benjamin Netanyahu, in the same way, but their actions are different and opposite to each other.

Since the split of the joint list into a separate run by Balad and Hadash-Ta'al, it can be said that Netanyahu is troubled by three main issues. The first is the desire for a low voter turnout in the Arab sector and the fall of Balad below the blocking percentage, and even of another Arab party.

This figure will increase the chances of the right block to get 61.

That is why Netanyahu wants to put the Arab sector to sleep, to induce indifference so that they will not come to vote at the polls.

The derivative of this action was the decision of the parties of the Netanyahu bloc not to participate in the vote on the disqualification of the Balad and Ra'am parties, despite statements against them during the year that they support terrorism.

This, on the grounds that the disqualification of the parties is a shot of encouragement to the Arab sector to come out and vote, and in fact serves as a gift to the Balad and Ra'am campaigns.

Netanyahu attacks Shaked: "She talks right and does left"

The second issue that preoccupies Netanyahu is Ayelet Shaked.

The chairman of the Likud made a decision to attack Shaked and "drink" her voters until she withdraws from the race. The argument underlying the move is that Shaked has no chance of passing the threshold even with the quiet support of the Likud. Therefore, it is necessary to "drink" the right-wing voters from her, so that she burns Only votes that without the Jewish Home would have voted for Gantz.

In the opposite bloc, Prime Minister Lapid is concerned about a low voter turnout in the Arab sector and wants to stimulate voting for the Ra'am and Hadash-Ta'al parties. Everyone in the political system understands that Lapid's only chance of remaining prime minister is to prevent Netanyahu from turning 61 and to continue serving as transitional prime minister, and alternatively Form a government with external support on Ahmed Tibi and Ayman Odeh, who without Balad can get "kosher".
