Cleaning the microwave vent (@anxietyscrubs)
A cleaning expert revealed the simple and fast way to clean your microwave in half an hour - including one particularly important part that you must not forget to clean.
The viewers were shocked because they didn't even know this part in the microwave existed, but this solution also works for other electrical products.
"Remember to clean the vent under your microwave," says the voice in the Tiktok clip.
About 200,000 people watched her see a sink full of water with a mixture of "dishwashing soap, vinegar and hot water poured into it."
The user @anxietyscrubs recommends leaving the opening to sit for half an hour in the mixture.
"I can't do it with one hand," she says as she scrubs the slots of the vent with a bristle brush and rinses it under running water afterward.
That's how she does it

In the next step of the clip, the camera cuts from the dirty opening to a much cleaner opening after it appears to have been cleaned and scrubbed, the woman's voice is satisfied: "Much better."
Viewers who saw the clip were shocked that the microwave had such a part inside.
"Does the microwave have vents?" one wondered and added: "That's something I'll do tomorrow."
Another commented: "I had no idea there was such an opening in the microwave."
The surfers who did not know at all about the existence of this ventilation opening answered that it exists only in devices that are also used as steam absorbers, so if you have a microwave above the stove - this opening exists.

The clip prompted another person to check if this solution applies to other products, "Just out of curiosity, I checked if there is such an opening in the hood above my oven and if it comes out in the same way - and it did. I'm installing it right now. Thank you very much."
Another cleaning expert added in the comments an idea that would help give up scrubbing: "Put it in boiling water with baking soda, you don't need to scrub at all. Good luck with the rest of the apartment."
