The Czech Ministry of Health announced the acceleration of the spread of the Corona virus in the country, and the discovery of 17,100 new infections during the past week, an increase of 1,300 cases over the previous week.
And the ministry indicated in a statement that last Monday alone, 4731 injuries were discovered, which constitutes the highest number recorded in a day since the first half of last April.
The ministry indicated that the number of Corona patients in Czech hospitals has now increased to 1,361 patients, an increase of 370 patients from last week.
It is noteworthy that, since the outbreak of the virus, the Czech Republic has recorded more than 4.1 million infections, and 41,090 deaths.
