The Yemeni negotiating delegation affirmed its keenness not to miss any opportunity that could lead towards peace in the country, noting that it exercised the utmost restraint towards violations of the aggression, in order to give more time to deliberations and international efforts.
And the delegation said in a statement today, carried by Saba news agency: “Since the start of the truce, despite the delay, the national team has been keen not to miss any opportunity that could lead towards peace,” stressing that Sanaa had no special agenda other than the interest of the people and the rights of citizens. humanitarian and legal.
The delegation added: The national party accepted the first and second extension of the armistice in the hope that there would be the slightest sense of responsibility, or understanding by the countries of aggression and their mercenaries, explaining that during 6 months of the life of the armistice, it did not feel any seriousness to address the humanitarian file as an urgent and urgent priority.
The delegation pointed out that the bet of the forces of aggression has become on the economic paper, and the continuation of the siege after all their other aggressive bets have failed, stressing the right of the Yemeni people to defend themselves, their rights, and confront the siege.
At the conclusion of its statement, the delegation held the countries of the aggression responsible for reaching a dead end with understandings, as a result of their intransigence, and their disavowal of measures that alleviate the suffering of the Yemeni people.
