"The whole world is at stake," Trump warned of the leaks in the Nord Stream pipelines.

The former US President calls for a deal with Putin.

Washington, DC – Donald Trump has spoken out in the wake of the alleged explosions on the Nord Stream pipelines.

According to the former US President, he can imagine negotiating with Russian President Vladimir Putin.

The Kremlin is suspected of having sabotaged the gas lines.

Donald Trump warned that the suspected sabotage could have dramatic consequences.

"This could lead to a major escalation or war," the Republican wrote on his own platform, Truth Social.

By "major escalation" Trump probably means the danger of a world war, since the pipeline is a German-Russian project and the Federal Republic is part of NATO.

Joe Biden and his US administration should now remain “cool, calm and dry,” Trump advised his successor, adding: “The catastrophe between Russia and Ukraine should NEVER have happened, and it definitely would not have happened if I were president ."

Nord Stream leaks: Trump wants to make deal with Putin

Donald Trump, who likes to boast of being a “deal maker”, also has a suggestion ready as to how the situation between Russia and the West could be eased.

The solution: Trump himself, of course. “Don't make the situation worse with the pipeline explosion.

Be strategic, be smart (brilliant!), make a deal NOW.

Both sides need and want it,” wrote the politician.

"The whole world is at stake." Then the Republican chimed in, half question, half statement, "I'm going to lead the group???"

The 76-year-old always praises himself for his allegedly excellent relationship with autocrats.

Whether with Kremlin boss Vladimir Putin, China's President Xi Jinping or North Korean dictator Kim Jong-un.

Trump wants to get along well with all these politicians.

"Our value is the love of people": Putin announces Ukraine annexation in wild speech

When Putin announced immediately before the start of the Ukraine war that he would recognize the separatist areas of Luhansk and Donetsk in eastern Ukraine and send soldiers to the region, Trump described the Russian president as “smart” and “savvy”.

"I said, 'This is awesome.'

Putin declares much of Ukraine independent.

Oh, that's wonderful," said the former White House resident.

Is Russia Behind Nord Stream Sabotage?

It is currently still unclear who caused the gas leaks in the Nord Stream pipelines - but most experts assume a Russian action.

British security circles blame Russia for the alleged sabotage attack.

An attack was "probably deliberate and planned" with an explosive device that was thrown into the sea weeks before the detonation.

Moscow, on the other hand, is shifting the responsibility towards the United States.

According to the RIA Novosti news agency, the Russian Foreign Ministry issued a brief statement on Thursday morning (September 29) stating that the "incident occurred in a zone controlled by US intelligence."
