One of the fears for the continuation of the events linked to the war in Ukraine is a Russian use of nuclear weapons.
Saturday, a call from a senior politician went in this direction.
The leader of the Russian republic of Chechnya, Ramzan Kadyrov, has thus asked the army to use "low-power nuclear weapons" in Ukraine.
This request came hours after the Russians withdrew from the strategic town of Lyman.
“In my opinion, more drastic measures should be taken, up to the declaration of martial law in border areas and the use of low-power nuclear weapons,” Kadyrov said.
"We must carry out the
special military operation
in the full sense of the term, and not have fun playing," said this faithful Kremlin, the Russian presidency, who was in Moscow on Friday for the formalization of the annexation of territories Ukrainians to Russia.
