Four people were killed when a boat of migrants, who were on board, sank off the coast of the Canary Islands.
AFP quoted the coast guard as saying that the bodies of four people who were on a boat were found 150 nautical miles southwest of the island of Gran Canaria, while a merchant ship that was passing by rescued a person yesterday night.
In turn, a local non-governmental organization indicated that the boat sailed, with 34 people on board, while another organization stated that it had received a distress call from the same boat, hours after it sailed from the coast of Western Sahara.
