More than 20 people were killed and others injured when a bus overturned in northern India.
"The bus, which was carrying about 50 people, overturned in Kanpur district of Uttar Pradesh in northern India, killing more than 20 people, including children and women, and injuring others, who were taken to hospital for necessary treatment," Xinhua quoted the local police as saying today.
The police began investigations, while rescue teams continued their work at the site of the accident.
