An escaped prisoner was arrested overnight from Friday to Saturday in Nancy after trying to escape a police check while driving a stolen car and crashing into a police officer who was not injured, a-t -we learned Sunday, October 2 from the prosecution.

The facts occurred on Friday around 11:00 p.m., Nancy public prosecutor François Pérain told AFP.

The man first fled to avoid being checked by a team of three police officers from the anti-crime brigade (BAC).
