A Wiesn visitor from Saxony could no longer stand the snoring in his dormitory.

The next morning, however, his solution brought him to the first-aid tent instead of the marquee.

Munich – With the start of the Wiesn, the prices for Oktoberfest accommodation increase enormously.

Hotels and hostels are becoming 70 percent more expensive.

One or the other likes to choose the cheaper dormitory.

But there are other problems waiting - snoring roommates, for example.

Michl, a man from Saxony, came up with a fixed solution – which, however, brought him to the ambulance the next morning.

Paper balls against snorers: Oktoberfest visitors find themselves at the emergency doctor the next morning

Apparently, the Wiesn visitor had exactly the problem mentioned - snoring roommates.

In order to find peace, the man from Saxony gradually stuffed more and more paper into his ears until he finally fell asleep, the Aicher Ambulance Union announced on Sunday in Munich.

A rude awakening followed in the morning.

The paper balls had served their purpose, but held too tight.

"He was no longer able to remove the beads, which were now deep in his ear, himself," the ambulance said.

He couldn't hear very well either, after all the paper was still stuck in his ears.

The rescue workers of the ambulance station at the Oktoberfest were able to help Michl from the Ore Mountain town of Aue-Bad Schlema on Saturday (October 1st) and gradually got all the paper balls out.

Operations at the medical station: Bella Ciao party and sleeping wives

Those who work in the medical station at the Oktoberfest, as well as employees of the Oktoberfest lost and found office, are likely to experience the wildest stories.

Also on the last weekend of the folk festival, a young Italian woman involuntarily caused a small party to the Wiesn hit "Bella Ciao".

All she really wanted to do was send voice messages to her friends.

An incident involving an Englishman may have occurred to the paramedics just as bizarrely.

After the treatment, he took advantage of the moment, left his wife sleeping and disappeared back into the Oktoberfest tent.
