The police are looking for a photo of a suspected Masskrug batter from the Hofbräu tent.

He punched a man lying on the ground.

Munich – The act was a few days ago.

According to the police, a dispute between a group of Australian and British tourists and a previously unknown group at the Oktoberfest in the Hofbräu tent escalated a week ago, on Saturday (September 24) around 8 p.m.

A 25-year-old Australian was showered with beer and attacked the suspected culprit.

This resulted in a scramble with several participants, including a 22-year-old British woman.

The later injured party, a 23-year-old Australian, tried to pull the 22-year-old away.

He was brought down from behind with a fist to the head by an unknown perpetrator and kicked there by a second unknown perpetrator.

At the same time, a third perpetrator came along and hit the 23-year-old victim, who was still lying on the ground, with full force on the head with a beer mug.

Immediately after this blow, the three perpetrators left the marquee and were able to escape undetected.

The victim was taken to hospital to be treated for multiple head lacerations.

As a result of extensive investigations on site, footage of the three suspects was secured.

The Munich I public prosecutor's office obtained a decision via the Munich District Court for a public search for the suspects.

Witnesses are asked to contact either Commissariat 24 (bodily harm) or any other police station.
