Within the framework of the activities of the national campaign to investigate “breast, cervical and prostate” cancers, mobile teams through mobile clinics provide services to patients and visitors in the Masyaf area and surrounding villages in the western countryside of Hama.
In statements to SANA reporter, Dr. Ali Shahoud, the supervisor of the mobile clinic in Baareen, said that the campaign witnessed a good turnout from those wishing to conduct tests on the three cancers, which reflects the state of awareness and sense of responsibility among citizens who wish to prevent the danger of this disease from themselves, noting the role of mobile clinics in terms of providing Time and transportation fees for citizens.
Regarding the stages of testing, the laboratory, Hiam Abido, explained that blood samples are drawn through the prostate to be analyzed according to technical principles, and delivered at the end of the day to the Health Directorate, considering that the number of prostate cancer tests carried out during these two days is good, which indicates the growing health awareness among the people.
Both reviewers, Sahar Ali and Somaya Muhammad, who conducted mammography and cervical smear tests, advised all women over the age of forty to undergo an early detection test, because it speeds up the recovery process from the disease in the event of infection.
The auditor, Mahmoud Obaidan, stated that he came to conduct the examination as a precautionary measure to check on his health.
