Before and after the 11th National Day, local flags and regional flags were damaged in succession.
At about 2 am today (3rd), officers of the West Kowloon Stormtroopers of the Police were patrolling across a school at No. 24 Sheung Heung Road, To Kwa Wan, when they found a national flag and a regional flag hanging upright on the roadside iron fence. Abandoned on the ground; and the 2.5 half-length telescopic steel pass with the flag was twisted and deformed.
As seen at the scene, the national flag and regional flag were hung upright on the iron fence in the vicinity. Other flags were not damaged. It is reported that when the personnel patrolled the site last night (2nd), the two flags were still intact.
Police have classified the case as "criminal damage" and are investigating the incident.
