Julien Bayou resigned as national secretary of the Greens after accusations, which he disputes, of psychological violence against an ex-companion.
His case plunges the environmentalist party into turmoil, particularly around the functioning of its internal unit for responding to gender-based and sexual violence.
LFI deputy Adrien Quatennens, for his part, resigned from his position as coordinator of La France Insoumise after acknowledging violence against his wife.
He was heard by police on Monday.
