Handicrafts of candles, accessories, crochet, various sculptural models, paintings drawn in various color techniques, and ornamental plants, included in the exhibition held in the hall of the Arab Cultural Center in the town of Mazraa in the countryside of As-Suwayda.
The three-day exhibition entitled (Our Youth is Our Hope), includes participations by a number of people interested in the field of handicrafts and sculptures from the town of Mazraa, and students from the two martyrs' Qais Abu Fakher and Salim Shaya public high schools in the country.
The director of the cultural center in the town of Al-Mazraa, Waad Al-Halabi, said in a statement to SANA reporter that the exhibition aims to encourage young talents and motivate them to continue their creative artistic work.
The young woman, Hiba Ezz El-Din El-Aqbani, found in the exhibition an opportunity to introduce her products of scented, colored and household candles, and the young woman, Haneen Ezz El-Din, highlighted her accessories and statues filled with wax in a new experience for him.
And the young man, Adham Ezz El-Din, stated that he presented many sculptures and wooden models in his first exhibition in his town, after participating in previous exhibitions in various regions of the province and the Syrian governorates, where he presented products that combined wood and wax, designs for chess boards made of beech wood and others.
The sculptor Ajwad Farhoud presented about 25 basalt stone sculptures in which he focused on the heritage aspects of the ancient swords, guns and daggers in which the colonial ancestors fought.
