Driving home from the Oktoberfest visit - not a good idea if you've had a drink.

A woman from Poing paid for this with an accident.

Poing/Grafing

- An Oktoberfest visitor from Poing had actually already taken the first steps on the path of reason: because he realized that he was too drunk to drive, he asked his girlfriend to take the wheel on the way home.

The problem: she was drunk too, and apparently that in the morning.

The accident happened around 8:30 a.m. on Sunday morning, reports the Poing police.

In the later check, the breath alcohol test in the 19-year-old showed 1.7 per mille, and she did not have a valid driver's license, the officials continued.

The woman "was determined to start the journey," the police report said.

That such a thing happened was because the car with the two Oktoberfest visitors coming from Parsdorf left the road just before Poing.

Shortly before the destination, the 19-year-old skidded with the car "and ended the journey backwards, parked in a nearby undergrowth," according to the police report.

She drove around the place-name signs and a delineator post.

You are now awaiting an investigation into endangering road traffic as a result of drinking and driving, as well as driving without a license.

Alcohol controls in Grafing: the police catch two more Oktoberfest visitors

The police checked two other drunk drivers on Monday night in Grafing.

According to the Ebersberger inspection, both stated that they had previously attended the Munich Oktoberfest.

Shortly after midnight, a 40-year-old from the eastern district was checked.

His breath alcohol test showed a value in the range of an administrative offence.

In the early hours of the morning, a 30-year-old from the southern district felt the same way.

The journey was over for both of them.
