Penzberg

- drinking and driving:

During a traffic check by a patrol of the PI Penzberg on the evening of 01.10.

A driver was found to be under the influence of alcohol.

At 8:55 p.m., the 60-year-old from Iffeldorf was checked at the wheel of his car in the local area.

Officers noticed the smell of alcohol.

A first test then delivered a result of over 0.5 per thousand.

The result for the Iffeldorfer: the onward journey was prevented.

Furthermore, a test that could be used in court was carried out at the office, on the basis of which fine proceedings were initiated. 

Steingaden – Car skids when overtaking:

On Sunday evening at around 7.40 p.m. there was an accident on the state road between Steingaden and Lechbruck.

A 20-year-old from Markoberdorf wanted to overtake the Renault of a 64-year-old from Wangener driving in front of him in a right-hand bend with his Peugeot.

When he was on the same level when overtaking, a Hyundai, driven by a 40-year-old woman from Peiting, came towards him.

The 20-year-old slammed on the brakes and skidded on the wet road.

The Peugeot spun and hit the rear of the VW on the left side.

Then he was thrown against the Renault.

The Peugeot and the Renault remained drivable, the VW had to be towed.

The material damage amounts to a total of 6000 €.

Luckily, everyone involved was unharmed.   


Weilheim – threat with butterfly knife:

On Saturday at around 3:15 p.m., a 23-year-old from Lechbruck appeared at the front door of his ex-girlfriend in Weilheim and wanted to be let in there.

He played around with a butterfly knife, but then left when asked.

After he could not be found as part of the search with several patrols, he appeared again at 5:00 p.m. and again ran away before the police arrived.

This time, however, he was found and secured in the area of ​​the Ammer dam, and the described knife was also found.

He was taken into custody and handed over to someone to collect him from the police station.

Since the knife is a "prohibited object" within the meaning of the Weapons Act, it was secured and the wearer received a complaint.

Schongau – Scooter driver escapes from the accident:

On Saturday, October 1st, 2022 at around 3:00 p.m., an 18-year-old from Schongau drove his Mercedes car south on Marienplatz in Schongau and wanted to turn right into Löwenstrasse.

Because of the traffic, he had to wait before turning.

A previously unknown scooter driver drove past the stopping car on the right and collided with the passenger door.

After the collision, the unidentified scooter driver briefly got out of his vehicle.

Afterwards, however, he immediately climbed back up and removed himself from the scene of the accident via the pedestrian zone.

The car was damaged to the value of EUR 4,000.

Peiting - coercion in road traffic:

On Friday, September 30th, 2022 at around 11:00 a.m., a 64-year-old man from the northern district of Garmisch-Partenkirchen drove his car on the B23 federal road in the direction of Peiting.

Behind the gentleman drove a previously unknown man with his BMW.

After driving through a curve, he started to overtake despite oncoming traffic.

After the overtaking manoeuvre, the unknown man cut in so closely in front of the 64-year-old man that he had to brake hard and swerve onto the shoulder to avoid an accident.

Altenstadt – Unauthorized waste disposal on a dirt road:

Between September 23rd, 2022 and October 1st, 2022, a previously unknown person disposed of waste on a dirt road in the Schönachstraße area in Altenstadt.

The garbage is parquet floors.

Who made suspicious observations in the Schönachstraße area during the period mentioned?

Kinsau – hit the street lamp:

On Friday, September 30, around 12:00 p.m. and 1:00 p.m., a previously unknown road user drove his vehicle into a street lamp on Römerstrasse.

in Kinsau.

Due to the force of the impact, the lantern has a clearly recognizable crooked position and must be replaced.

However, the perpetrator fled the scene of the accident without reporting the damage.

The damage is estimated at around 5000 euros.

The Schongau police are asking for information.

Penzberg – Unauthorized removal from the scene of the accident:

On October 1st, 2022 at 09:55 a.m. in Penzberg on Karlstraße at house number 10, a couple from Hohenpeissenberg observed a 42-year-old woman from Penzberg reversing out of a parking space with her Opel car crashed into the Skoda car of a 46-year-old woman from Benediktbeuern parked behind it.

After the collision, the person who caused the accident got out, but left the scene of the accident without permission despite the damage to property totaling around 400 euros.

The witnesses wrote down the number plate of the woman who caused the accident and reported the accident to the local office.   

Habach – drug drive:

On September 30th, 2022 at 9:30 p.m., a 29-year-old Penzberger was subjected to a traffic check with his car in Habach, Dürnhauser Straße.

When he was reprimanded, he admitted the consumption of narcotics, which is why he was forbidden to continue his journey.

After taking a blood sample, the Penzberger was released.

A traffic violation report was issued against him.

Penzberg – unauthorized removal from the scene of the accident:

On September 30, 2022 at 4:45 p.m., a 26-year-old from Penzberg drove his vehicle combination, consisting of a Sprinter and a trailer, on Sindelsdorfer Straße in Penzberg towards the city centre.

At number 86, he violated the right-hand drive requirement, causing him to collide sideways with an oncoming Daimler car, which was being driven by a 23-year-old Penzberger.

After the collision, the 26-year-old suddenly continued his journey with his vehicle combination and left the scene of the accident without permission.

The accident was observed by a 33-year-old woman from the district of Garmisch-Partenkirchen.

They then informed the police inspection in Penzberg and followed the person who caused the accident to their destination, which ultimately made it possible to identify the driver responsible. 

Peißenberg – Drunk on the road on an unapproved e-scooter:

On Friday at 7:40 p.m., a 42-year-old Peißenberg fell at the “Barbarahof” who was driving his e-scooter there.

In addition to the laceration, however, he also received a complaint because he was driving with more than one per mille and also had not insured the e-scooter despite a top speed of around 50 km/h. 

Weilheim – Drunk cyclist falls:

On Friday at 7:10 p.m., a patrol crew from the Weilheim police station deployed as part of the procession of lights there observed a 64-year-old cyclist from Weilheim falling on Munich street.

Although he was not injured, a breath alcohol level of more than 1 per mil was found, which resulted in a blood test and a report of drunken driving. 

Eberfing – Two slightly injured in an accident with a driving school car:

On Friday at 5:00 p.m., a 40-year-old from Weilheim drove on the district road from Eberfing in the direction of Weilheim/Marnbach.

At the junction with district road WM1, he overlooked the driving school car of a driving school from the district coming from the left and having the right of way due to the traffic regulations with traffic signs.

In the collision, the 42-year-old driving instructor and the 16-year-old driving student (both from Penzberg) were slightly injured, and there was property damage of around 14,000 euros.
