Willi Herren's estate was auctioned off.
But not all parts ended up under the auction hammer.
Cologne/Krefeld – Willi Herren was found dead in his apartment in April 2021.
Now – about a year and a half later – his entire estate came under the auction hammer.
With the sale of his estate, the debts are to be at least partially paid off.
24RHEIN reports on the proceeds of the men's auction.

A "Willi Men's Hand Puppet" fetched 156 euros.
For a toiletry bag including a nose hair trimmer, the highest bid was only ten euros.
A decorated artificial fir was worth 15 euros to one bidder.
Willi Herren: What's left of his life is now being auctioned off – Jasmin doesn't like it at all
► Around a year and a half have passed since Willi Herren was found dead in his apartment at the age of 45.
The estate auction is intended to pay his creditors.
► Not everyone was enthusiastic about the Willi Herren auction, since very personal items were also auctioned off.
Willi-widow Jasmin Herren explained: “I also find some things irreverent and undignified to offer there at all.
I fought.
That was all.
Sorry."

However, there were a number of things that no one could warm to – a pair of “heavily worn” ankle boots with a loose sole, a damaged gingerbread heart or a pair of stained shorts.
Around 660 items from Herren's personal possessions were offered at the four-week auction.
