Firefighters in the Tartous Agriculture Directorate, in cooperation with the local community, put out a fire that broke out this afternoon in agricultural and forest lands in the town of Genena Raslan in Tartous countryside.
The head of the forestry department in the directorate, Dr. Fadi Diop, said in a statement to SANA reporter that the fire erupted on an area of three dunams planted with olive trees, and three dunams of oak trees. Drakeish in cooperation with the local community.
Diop called on the people not to set fires in the fields and orchards, and in the event of any fire, call 188 or 113.
