At the beginning of the 20th century, a sanatorium project was entrusted to the architect Otto Wagner.
Never built, it was replaced by a monastery.
Abandoned, the latter was rediscovered in the early 2000s by a hotelier who transformed it into an inn.
In 2020, his son and his partner take up the torch and imagine Forestis.
