The Syrian Investment Authority granted an investment license for a project to install a photovoltaic solar plant to produce electrical energy using photovoltaic panels with a capacity of 3 megawatts for a glass industries facility in the Industrial City of Hasya in Homs Governorate, at an estimated cost of about 7.9 billion Syrian pounds, as the project is expected to provide 36 job opportunities. .
The authority explained in a statement that SANA received a copy of that the importance of the project lies in installing the solar photovoltaic plant on the roofs of the hangars in the industrial facility for glass industries, and it is connected with the internal network of the facility, so that electrical energy is pumped directly into the facility for consumption in operating the machines, noting that The project depends on the use of the best technologies and international and European specifications, and the project establishment period is one year starting from the date of granting the investment license.
The number of investment licenses granted in accordance with the investment law reached 44 investment licenses, at an estimated cost of one and a half trillion.
