The seizure of 600 pebbles of crack discovered in a backpack led them to the Paris court (17th century).
This Monday, three young men appeared before the judges for drug trafficking.
On Saturday, as part of the crack plan led by the police headquarters, the “crack” group of the Regional Transport Security (SRT), dedicated to this scourge, carried out a surveillance operation which turned out to be “juicy”.
Officials spinning in the sector of Place Auguste Baron and Square de la Porte de la Villette (19th century) landed with the dogs of the canine team and arrested three alleged drug dealers, aged 18, 21 and 24.
They first spotted them in their makeshift camp.
The dogs stopped on a backpack.
Bingo!
The bottom of the bag contained 7 moons of crack (58 g), equivalent to 600 pebbles of this narcotic.
Two of the suspects known to police
The trio were boarded and taken into custody at the SRT premises.
Investigators worked on the phones seized and identified the home of one of the alleged dealers, in Villemomble (Seine-Saint-Denis).
The investigators went there but the apartment in question had been “completely cleaned” and “emptied of personal effects”, regrets a source close to the file.

The three suspects, two of whom are known to the police, are in an irregular situation on French soil.
Two of them are also homeless.
The police got in touch with the administrative detention center (CRA) for a deportation to the border.
This operation is not the first.
The new police chief of Paris, Laurent Nuñez, has promised the closure of this fatal camp where several hundred drug addicts roam between the Porte de la Villette (19th century) and the communes of Pantin and Aubervilliers (Seine-Saint-Denis) , which mobilizes hundreds of police officers.
A promise in which the residents, disillusioned, no longer believe.
