The horizon is clearing for Jean-Noël Barrot.
The minister delegate (MoDem) easily came out on top in the by-election, Sunday, October 2, in the second district of Yvelines (Versailles-south, Vélizy-Villacoublay, Chevreuse).
Under the rule introduced by Emmanuel Macron, the outgoing deputy, re-elected last June with 64.3% of the vote, must imperatively emerge victorious from this new ballot to keep his ministerial portfolio.
