Deputy Head of the Russian Coordination Center Oleg Yegorov said in a statement that the Russian planes targeted the underground headquarters of terrorist groups near the villages of Ruwaiha and Musaibeen, and destroyed their positions in the de-escalation zone in Idlib, and “prevented terrorist attacks on facilities belonging to the Russian armed forces and the Syrian government forces.” .
Egorov indicated that thirteen terrorists were killed, including the two field leaders, Abu Yousef Al-Shami and Khaled Al-Yousef, nicknamed "Abu Omar", and 22 others from the terrorist group were seriously wounded, and their sites and headquarters were destroyed.
The Russian military official explained that the Russian strike also destroyed a weapons depot containing four primitive rocket launchers, an anti-aircraft gun and small arms.
