Two people died and another was injured as a result of a car deteriorating on the Derti Seriges highway in the Qadmous area in Tartous countryside.
The Ministry of Interior said in a statement that SANA received a copy of today that the police of Hammam Wasel district in the Qadmous area were informed of the deterioration of a car on the Derti-Srigis highway in the Qadmous area, so the patrols immediately went to the scene of the accident.
The ministry indicated that the car that deteriorated is a pickup type, and as a result of the accident, the father and mother of its driver were killed and injured.
The ministry pointed out that the initial investigation revealed that the car was loaded with 60 bags of olives, and the reason for the deterioration was excessive speed and the driver's inability to cross the curve, and investigations are still ongoing.
