Lawns scorched by successive heat waves, flowers shattered by drought and trees dying due to lack of rain.
With a record summer of 2022 in terms of climate change – it had never rained so little in the Oise since the first surveys by Météo France in 1958 – the flora is struggling to survive.
Both in forests or in private homes and in city flower boxes, maintained by employees of the green spaces department.
