Tesla boss Elon Musk tweeted how the war between Russia and Ukraine could be ended.

The Ukrainian ambassador and President Zelenksy are anything but enthusiastic.

Stuttgart/Austin – Actually, tech billionaire Elon Musk should have his hands full.

The controversial visionary is not only the boss of the electric car manufacturer Tesla and the space company SpaceX, but also runs a tunnel drilling company with The Boring Company and is also involved in a legal dispute with Twitter.

Nevertheless, the richest person in the world continues to use the short message service diligently to make his opinions known, sometimes overshooting the mark.

The Tesla boss has now interfered in the ongoing Ukraine war and presented his proposed solution to the conflict between Ukraine and Russia on Twitter.

The Ambassador Andriy Melnyk, who was last stationed in Berlin, did not exactly cause enthusiasm and the Ukrainian President Volodymyr Zelenskyj also spoke up.

As a result, Elon Musk simply proposed an alternative approach to the conflict.

Elon Musk tweets solution to Ukraine war - Melnyk and Zelenskyj react

Elon Musk is one of the most followed users on Twitter.

The Tesla boss regularly uses this range to start sometimes more, sometimes less serious surveys.

He also created one for his proposed solution to the Russia-Ukraine conflict.

“Ukrainian-Russian peace: repeat elections in annexed regions under UN supervision.

If it is the will of the people, Russia will leave the region,” is the first point of his proposal.

"Crimea has belonged to Russia since 1783 (until Khrushchev's mistake (Nikita Khrushchev, Soviet politician, editor's note))", according to the second and last two points: "The water supply of Crimea must be secured" and "Ukraine remains neutral."

Elon Musk provided this version with the voting options "No" and "Yes".

As of October 4, 3:30 p.m., around 2.4 million users have already voted.

What the Ukrainian ambassador thinks of the Tesla boss's proposal became more than clear without a vote.

"The only result is that no Ukrainian will ever buy your damn Tesla crap," Melnyk wrote.

"Fuck you is my very diplomatic answer to you."

Only about two hours later, the Ukrainian President Volodymyr Zelenskyj spoke up and presented his own voting option on Twitter.

“Which Elon Musk do you prefer?” is the question.

The possible answers are: "The one who supports Ukraine" and "The one who supports Russia".

Elon Musk angers Ukraine - Russia welcomes approach

Remarks by the Tesla boss in the past show that Elon Musk is following the war between Ukraine and Russia with concern.

In a text message, he is said to have written that there was no point in buying Twitter "when we are headed for World War III." After the start of the Russian war of aggression, he had made the Starlink satellite network available to Ukraine.

Elon Musk responded to a death threat from Russia with a sarcastic tweet.

However, the Ukrainian politicians were rather offended by his proposed solution.

After the answers from Melnyk and Zelenskyj to Elon Musk, politicians from other Eastern European countries, among others, also commented on the Tesla boss's proposed solution.

"Tesla-Ford-Peace," wrote the Polish politician Cezary Tomczyk, for example.

"I propose that from now on Tesla belongs to Ford, after all, cars once mainly belonged to Ford." The Russian side, on the other hand, welcomed Elon Musk's approach.

"It's positive that someone like Elon Musk is looking for a peaceful way out of the situation," said Kremlin spokesman Dmitry Peskov, according to the state agency Ria Novosti.

“But as far as holding referenda is concerned, residents have already expressed their opinions.

And nothing else can apply here.”

Elon Musk himself presented a new solution after clear criticism from Ambassador Andriy Melnyk, President Volodymyr Zelenskyy and a large number of Twitter users.

"Let's try this," he wrote.

"The will of the people living in Donbass and Crimea should decide whether they belong to Russia or Ukraine." However, this approach also provoked a mixed response.

Many users commented that Ukraine held such a vote more than 30 years ago and that each individual region voted for independence from Russia.
