The Somali authorities announced the killing of 20 people and wounding 36 others as a result of the two terrorist bombings that took place yesterday in Hiran Governorate, central Somalia.
The Associated Press quoted local officials as saying that the number of victims of the two terrorist bombings, which were carried out by gunmen from the terrorist "Al-Shabab" movement, targeting the headquarters of the local government in Hiran, rose to 20 dead and 36 wounded.
And Hiran Governor Ali Gait Osman, who survived the two bombings yesterday, indicated that the Minister of Health in Hirshabelle State, and the Deputy Governor of Hiran were among the dead.
A previous toll indicated that 12 people were killed and several others wounded in the two bombings, for which Al-Shabab, linked to the terrorist organization Al-Qaeda, claimed responsibility.
