The committees concerned with settling the status of wanted persons held a meeting at the Hama governorate building today, with the participation of tribal elders, in preparation for the opening of a settlement center in it, in response to the people’s desire to allow all those wishing to settle their situation, in accordance with the terms of the agreements put forward by the state.

SANA’s reporter in Hama stated that during the meeting, which was held in the governorate building in the presence of Governor Mahmoud Zanubua, the purpose of opening the settlement center, during the next few days, was clarified to include the wanted, fugitives, and those who have failed the mandatory and reserve services.

The reporter stated that the members of the committees answered the queries raised by the meeting, about the settlement mechanisms and the facilities provided to those wishing to reside inside and outside Syria, so that they can return to their areas and homes, in addition to settling the conditions of people from other governorates and those residing in Hama.

The previous years witnessed the opening of dozens of settlement centers in the governorates, to settle the conditions of those wishing to join the settlement agreements put forward by the state, including wanted persons, fugitives from reserve and compulsory services, and those who had failed to do so, in order to enhance the state of security and stability throughout the country.
