Training female teachers on the methods and strategies of modern education to accommodate a large number of them in the schools of the city of Douma and to fill the shortage of teaching staff.

The course, which concluded its work today, targeted more than 75 schools, which were divided into two categories. The first included training 40 schools for the first cycle of basic education, while the second category included 35 teachers of the second cycle of secondary education, during which the teachers received the basics of active education, in addition to presenting creative methods and important educational means. And rich to develop the educational process, according to the supervisor of the educational complex in the Duma Noha Al-Najjar area.

In a statement to SANA reporter, Al-Najjar indicated the interaction between the trainees and their keenness to provide the best results to be applied in the classroom in front of the students, explaining that most of the participants in the course are university graduates with different specializations.

The director of the Institute of Excellence for Outstanding Students in Douma, Ammar Haroun, said that the course is a great opportunity for every school that wants to develop its performance in a way that matches the strategies and modern methods of education in order to deliver information to the student smoothly and easily.

Haroun pointed out that the cooperation between the Damascus Countryside Education Directorate and the institute has resulted in many courses, targeting teachers and students, and there will be upcoming courses in the educational field for male and female teachers. The past years and work is underway to provide more to build a conscious generation capable of participating in the reconstruction and building of the nation.”

A number of female teachers participating in the course stressed the importance of the information they obtained and its role in refining the educational skill of each of them. Wafaa Al-Hajj Ali, a graduate of the Faculty of Arts, French Language Department, indicated that this course added to her new experience in dealing with students of all levels and ages, while another trainee indicated Through the course, she was introduced to new teaching methods that would enrich the educational process and make it more useful and enjoyable.

The institute had carried out a training course in coordination with the Directorate of Education in Damascus Countryside, targeting 90 literary secondary students, who were qualified to sit for the general secondary certificate exam.
