The German newspaper Der Spiegel confirmed that the US intelligence services closely follow the locations and movements of the Russian army, and pass this information to Ukraine, for the latter's forces to use in fighting the Russians.
The newspaper quoted Greg Austin, an expert in the field of espionage and intelligence, as saying: “The United States avoids direct military intervention in the conflict, but provides Kiev with a lot of intelligence,” adding: “The United States monitors Russian websites in great detail, and regularly transmits this data to Ukraine.” .
Austin pointed out that Western intelligence services such as the Baltic states, Poland and Britain also provide a large amount of intelligence information about Russian forces in Ukraine.
