Within the activities of the Iranian Cultural Week in Syria, the Iranian Cultural Chancellery, in cooperation with the Ministry of Culture, held a panel discussion at the Arab Cultural Center in the field, on studying strategies for developing women’s entrepreneurship and promoting business at home, entitled “Creativity and Excellence.”

The lectures at the symposium touched on the necessity of exchanging experiences and developing joint policies on which to build advanced and continuous bilateral relations, and the sharing of these experiences between Syria and Iran, and their development at all levels, stressing that cultural work needs economic support to develop it.

The head of the Department of International Cultural Relations for Women in the Association for Culture and Islamic Relations, Saeeda Bagheri Fard, reviewed the association's work, cultural activities outside Iran, and follow-up to the products of distinguished women in Iran, to promote the issues of education for children and women's empowerment.

The researcher, who received the title of "Lady of Creativity and Excellence" in Iran, Fatima Alamdari, showed video clips of the largest steel project in Iran, which she supervises herself, and includes three factories for the production of solid metals in an innovative manner, through which she was able to provide many job opportunities, as she seeks in These projects will provide large financial returns, which will reflect positively in the economic and cultural fields, stressing the need to activate the role of women in these areas.

The Director of the Arab Cultural Center in Al-Midan, Laila Saab, focused in her talk on the work of pioneering Syrian women in the field of community work, who have creative fingerprints in managing small projects within their homes, with the aim of supporting their families, and bearing the burdens of wars and crises, and referred to the great similarity between the Syrian and Iranian experiences, In terms of conditions, values, customs, traditions and economic pressures.

A group of women talked about their successful experiences of entrepreneurship in many fields, extracting the institutional frameworks that govern the work environment of small projects in the two countries, and the most important ways of support they provide to women, to support them economically, and to advance women's entrepreneurship.

On the sidelines of the symposium, an exhibition was held for Syrian small projects, the owners of which presented their home-made products, and included many diverse handicrafts, such as ornaments, clothing, accessories, glass, silkworm industries, and various food, medical and aromatic products.
