Four militants were killed in an attack by militants in Khyber Pakhtunkhwa, northwest Pakistan today.
Xinhua quoted the local police as saying in a statement: An armed group attacked a convoy of cars belonging to the security forces in Matani district of the province, and the clashes between the two sides resulted in the killing of four militants and the injury of five security forces, in addition to confiscating cars and large quantities of weapons and ammunition.
The statement pointed out that a wide search operation was launched in the area to eliminate any presence of militants.
