The singer Miguel Bosé, 66, has undergone surgery for a herniated disc, which will prevent him from traveling to Spain to present his new book,
Secret stories of my best songs
, according to sources from his publisher to the Efe agency.
His new title, which will be published on November 11, is presented as "his most personal work", as announced by the Planeta publishing house.
Something complicated, considering that in recent months the singer, who lives in Mexico, has embarked on different projects to novelize and reflect his personal life.

The book was open and frank, but the author of it showed a completely opposite attitude during the book's promotional tour, in which he was cryptic and hostile to the press.
It was November 2021, and that was the last time (at least publicly) that the artist visited Spain.

There is still no date for the premiere in Spain of
Bosé,
the series based on his life from Paramount+ Internacional, written by Ángeles González Sinde, Isabel Vázquez and Boris Izaguirre and directed by two Goya award winners: Fernando Trullols and Miguel Bardem.
The chapters recount 20 years of the artist's life, from 1976 to 1996, although they also portray moments from his childhood and the
Papito
tour , between 2007 and 2008. The screenwriter Nacho Faerna met the singer on numerous occasions during 2019 and noted every detail in a notebook.
The books have been written by the artist and the series has been made with his approval.
None of them deal with his recent controversies.
In recent years, the artist has been in the news for his problems with the Treasury, his controversies as an agitator of conspiracies about the covid and his confrontation with his partner in the shadows for more than two decades, the sculptor Nacho Palau, with the who is facing custody of the four children they have in common.
Musically, Bosé hasn't released a studio album since 2014.
In his last television appearances he has been heard with an affected voice.
